Lo ammetto, ho appoggiato la decisione di mettere Sky perché non vedevo l’ora di fare zapping tra i vari canali di cucina 🙂
Ovviamente sono rimasta folgorata dalle rubriche della Ravaioli e di Jamie Oliver. Sono ancora nella fase in cui guardo eseguire la ricetta e mi dimentico di prendere appunti, salvo poi scrivere furiosamente all’ultimo minuto gli ingredienti su un fogliaccio di carta.
Quando ho visto cucinare questi biscotti, quindi, ho segnato le dosi ma poi mi sono dimenticata il procedimento. Non credo sia difficile rintracciare la ricetta originale, forse sul sito della Ravaioli o su quello di Sky; qui metto il mio procedimento, che tutto sommato ha prodotto dei biscotti non solo belli a vedersi, ma anche piuttosto buoni!
Per una vagonata di biscotti, occorrono:
– 450 di farina
– 50g di fecola
– 200g di burro
– 150g di zucchero
– 1 uovo
– 5 cucchiai di panna
– 1 bustina di vanillina
– 1 bustina di lievito
– 1 pizzico di sale
Ho messo farina, fecola, burro, vanillina, lievito e sale nel robot da cucina e ho avviato alla massima velocità , per ottenere uno sfarinato “burroso”.
A parte ho sbattuto l’uovo con lo zucchero e la panna, poi ho versato il composto sullo sfarinato e, sempre alla massima velocità , ho atteso che il tutto formasse la classica palla.
Ho fatto riposare l’impasto in frigo per una oretta abbondante, poi ho acceso il forno a 175 gradi (elettrico non ventilato) e ho iniziato a stendere un quarto del composto, formando fiorellini, stelline, ciambelle etc. Ho disposto i biscotti su una teglia rivestita di carta forno, un poco distanziati, e ho infornato per 10-12 minuti. I biscotti non devono prendere troppo colore, basta una leggera doratura per renderli friabili ma non duri. Nel mentre che la prima teglia cuoceva, ho preparato una seconda e così via, poi ho reimpastato i ritagli e continuato a formare biscotti fino a esaurimento dell’impasto.
Non li ho contati, ma ne sono venuti davvero tanti! Si conservano molti giorni se tenuti chiusi, per esempio in una scatola di latta.
Ho fatto questi biscotti anche per provare nuove cose da regalare a Natale. Come potete osservare a destra, cercherò di partecipare all’iniziativa di Francescav Aspettando Natale. Non ho ancora idea di come arriverò al 21 dicembre, guardo l’agenda zeppa di impegni e mi viene un po’ di angoscia, ma con mezzo neurone ho iniziato a pensare ai regalini per famigliari, amici e colleghi.
Una delle idee-regalo che ho sperimentato con successo anche negli anni scorsi, è quella di preparare piccoli sacchetti di biscotti, magari decorati con glassa o cioccolato. Negli anni passati è stata la volta dei lebkuchen austriaci, dei cantucci toscani, della rich fruit cake inglese. Quest’anno potrei buttarmi sui biscotti della Ravaioli, sono facili e veloci da fare, anche con un discreto anticipo vista la facilità di conservazione.
Nei prossimi giorni posterò altre ricette per idee-regalo, per il menu di Natale invece sono piuttosto dubbiosa di riuscire a provare qualcosa di diverso dal solito, quindi magari posterò un elenco di link a vecchi post, un riepilogo, giusto per fare i compitini al limite dell’impegno (come d’altronde facevo già a scuola :)). Quest’anno è andata così, ho potuto dedicarmi poco al blog e alla cucina, ma sono contenta ugualmente perché le mie energie, anche se risucchiate interamente dal lavoro, hanno portato buoni frutti e qualche soddisfazione: di questi tempi riuscire a fare il lavoro che si è sempre sognato, quello per cui si è studiato, è un lusso che non tutti possono permettersi 🙂
